FireSpy

Firespy is a Firefox extension which allows you to tell people on your blog what webpage you are currently viewing. For example below is what I have been recently viewing.

Example

How to install

To use FireSpy you will need to install the FireSpy Firefox extension, get a username and insert the code into your website.

Firefox Extension

First you will need to install the firefox extension.
Install FireSpy
You will need to restart Firefox for the plugin to start working.

Get a username

You can register to get a username. All the form needs is your desired username, password and an email address. Apart from forgetting your password you will never be contacted via the email so feel free to enter a fake address. Once you have your username and password you can enter it into your plugin. Go to Tools -> Extensions -> FireSpy and select Options. Enter your details and select whether you want FireSpy to start running automatically whenever you start Firefox. If you dont want to start FireSpy automatcily you can turn it on and off from the Options menu.

Insert the code into your site

If you go to the main page you will be able to see a few options of possible boxes. Then its just a case of copying and pasting the given code into your own site.
