Whats inside a CASIO CFX-9850G?
Apart from the button battery compnartment, all the screws are the same.So no screw memorising required.
Opening
Open the back with your favorite coin.
Remove all batteries.

Undo the four screws and remove the backup battery.

This is the painful part. The two halves are snapped together.
Using a small flat head screwdriver starting from the back where there are no snap points, wedge it under the front cover pushing the front part outwards unclip both sides

There are two clips on each side, close to the middle.
Once you have done both sides you can start with the top edge.
Again using a screwdriver unclip the back cover by pushing the front half outwards.

Inside there are two boards.

The top board can be bent over by unscrewing two screw holding it to the case and four screws holding the display.

The ribbon cable allows the board to be bent over.

The display part holds a memory chip and a board mounted custom looking chip covered with epoxy.

The keyboard board is pretty boaring too.

The final board can be removed from the front case half by unscrewing the final three screws.

This reveals the keyboard.
